Few years ago I saw some awarded design work based on similar effect inspired by Japanese calligraphy. Since then I was fascinated by it and I was wondering how did it was achieved. Finally I found a way do it and I packed it up in a product that is easy to use but that offers end results which are artistically deep and complex.

Just to be clear, these are not usual watercolour masks for your photos. These are not just a scans of watercolored spots and paint strokes. These are very complex compositions, built of few layers of textures, paints, drips, calligraphy strokes and illustrations. And they provide beautiful instant results. Just put your photo into Smart Object provided in PSD file and choose a result/mask you like the most, or if you don’t want to use Photoshop, just cover your photo with transparent PNG mask. That’s it. Convert your photos to artistic abstract paints in a matter of seconds. Requirements for PSD files: Photoshop CS4 or newer. PNG files should work in all graphic editing softwares and web apps which can handle PNG files.
